Task Force Charlie, originally called Charlie-439, is a group of UNSC Marines, organized by Captain James Croft. While intended to partake in the Daego Insertions, they continued to operate afterwards, and are most famous for having a leading role in the First Battle of New Jerusalem.
They also provided much needed support during the Skirmish at New Krakow, and were present for the Fall of Reach in which they were almost completely destroyed.
They were later reformed with two other, undermanned task forces, India and Golf, to become Joint Force India-Charlie-Golf. The Joint Force went on to assist Task Forces Hotel and Bravo during the Battle of the Rhine-Ruhr and the Raid on Sydney, during the Battle of Earth.
After the War ended, Charlie, along with India and Golf, was repopulated.
